Sacramento Heritage regrets the need to cancel our tour of the
Gladding McBean facility on May 15th.  We will be contacting those
who have purchased tickets for a full refund, and an option to join us
for a private discussion and presentation.  For questions please contact

Tour the California State Archives
One Friday each month, the California State Archives provides a free,
behind the scenes tour of California’s rich history and state government.

The State Archives’ collections of historic records include more than
100 million documents, 20,000 maps and architectural drawings,
250,000 photographs and thousands of video and audio recordings.

Tours begin at 12:00 Noon and last approximately one hour.  Tours are
scheduled for the following dates:

  • March 29, 2013
  • April 26, 2013
  • May 31, 2013
  • June 28, 2013
  • July 26, 2013
  • August 30, 2013
  • September 27, 2013
  • October 25, 2013
  • November and December 2013 - no tours scheduled
